Dudes, my last blog was all about reader participation, and no readers participated. This makes me sad.
But onward to other things. Just because I feel abandoned and unloved doesn’t mean I can’t continue heaping my love and affection on this web comic. Sniff. Anyway, it’s November, and November is NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month.
I am not going to write a novel this month. I am not going to attempt it. There is too much else to do. What I am going to do is give myself a number of writing related goals to try and push myself to write more and better and to get projects done. The first of these projects was to finish the script for Emma, which I wrapped up a few minutes ago.
This doesn’t mean there won’t be any more changes in the script between now and whenever the last pages go live, but it does mean that everything has been written and sketched and I finally like how the second half of the last chapter is coming together. I am really happy with the revisions I made. My poor lovely characters!
I’m not sure what my next goal will be, but I hope to finish drawing the remaining pages of Emma soon, and perhaps that will go into the November production frenzy. I would also love to get a solid script together for my next project at Basic Telepathy, but as I’m not quite sure what that’s going to be that might be harder. I should at very least consolidate the ideas that I have floating around and start making decisions though, because Emma should be finished by February or March and they will be here far sooner than it seems. I can’t believe it’s going by so fast.

Taking Stock is finished! The final two pages will post on May 26 and June 2nd. The end of the semester, travel, and a bout of COVID slowed me down, but it’s done.
Up next is The Missing Knife! The script is due for another round of revisions over the next few weeks, with new pages hopefully getting underway late June, early July.
