For the past few years I’ve had a Cafepress Shop with my art on magnets, cards, mugs and more. Recently, cafepress has gone through some changes, and though I was initially excited, it seems that the direction that they’re moving isn’t really fitting my needs. The store will be open until the start of the new year, and then I’m going to shut it down and move on to other things. If there’s anything you’ve been eyeing, any last purchase you want to make, now is the time.
Otherwise, the best place to buy my stuff and support me as an artist is Adagio. It’s a great company and community, and if you’re a tea lover, I highly recommend checking out not just my dinosaur teas, but also the rest of their selection.
Come summer I’m planning a major website overhaul, which will probably include a new shop where I’ll be able to offer pdfs and print editions of my comics. I’m not sure yet what form things will take, but I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what I want my comic-making practice to look like and where I want to go when I finish my MFA. I’m terrified and excited to see what happens next. School has been a major part of my life for the past eighteen years–I’m not quite sure what life looks like without it.
Last but not least, a bit of convention news–I had a fabulous time manning the CCS table at MoCCA Arts Fest last year, so I am thrilled to be going back this year and sharing a table with three of my talented and wonderful cartoonist friends. It’ll be April 4 & 5, and I will let you know more as the date approaches!
