I went to Ireland summer of ’07 with my sister, mom and stepdad. It was a wonderful trip and we visited some beautiful sites. Most of what we saw was medieval or renaissance; numerous castles and churches. There are some really fantastic ruins. But while I love castles, when I think of Ireland I think standing stones and elf mounds and fairies. Towards the very end of the trip we finally made it to some ancient celtic sites.
