MeCAF, Pencils and Print Deadlines

I finished up the pencils for issue 4 this afternoon, so now it’s on to inking and coloring!  Still a lot of work to be done, but it feels like the worst of the battle is over.  This issue came out to 38 pages, beating out issue 3 for Longest Issue by four pages.  It has more action, more magic, and more annoyingly time consuming backgrounds to draw than any other issue so far.

I hope to debut the comic in print at the Maine Comic Arts Festival on May 17th, so I have a hard deadline I am steadily working toward.  I may or may not start posting pages online before the convention, depending on my progress and sanity level, but I will definitely have the new issue posting online by the end of May.

So I will see you then!
