This evening I finished issue 5. I’m sure there are still some errors, and I’m going to be going through the whole book with a fine toothed comb over the next few months, fixing typos, coloring mistakes, tweaking dialog and redrawing bits and pieces that need it the most. As I put the pages from all five issues together in one file I felt overwhelmed, proud, exultant, and tired. It has been a very long week finishing this issue.
The new dinosaur comic is not going to be ready in time for Topatocon, but I should have it for Project Comic Con in October. Getting the last chapter of Wits End ready in time to go to the printer took pretty much everything I had, but I’ll have a few days to recharge here and then get moving with the next project and everything else that still needs to be done with Wits End.
I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to put so much time and energy into this comic the past two years, and am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported my during it’s creation. We’ve got a little further to go to get it in print, but I’m looking forward to the final phases of this project.
