Ok, so news. First off I would like to direct you all to the Top Web Comics link on the right hand side of the page. It appears to say that this comic is in 130 somethingth place. This is incorrect, as there should be another digit added on at the end there. In order to get it to display correctly, we must get up into three digit numbers. It is a dangerous and difficult task, and many perils await us on the way, but I think we’re up to the challenge. You can help do this by clicking on that button and voting for this comic (along with your other favorite comics). To reward you for supporting me thus, there is a preview panel from next Tuesday’s update that will be displayed after you vote.
Next up, and maybe it only matters to me but I thought I’d share anyway, I now get statistics for the site on a daily basis. It took me a few days to figure out exactly what I wanted and how to get it, but now I can see how many page views and independent visits there are and I feel less lonely out in my little corner of the internet. Having people visit makes me feel loved. Comments make me feel loved too… hint, hint.
Third, I’ve been considering hand lettering future pages and going back through and redoing the text in the current pages. This would take some extra time now but probably save me some later, and would hopefully be more expressive and flexible. The trade off would be that it might be less easily legible at times. What do you guys think? Would you prefer to see it hand written?
