Hope you all enjoyed Sketch-a-day-February. If you missed it, you can still see all of the sketches at basictelepathy.tumblr.com or basictelepathy.deviantart.com.
March is heralding a very busy period in my life. A play of mine is going up at a New Works festival in April, and I auditioned for and was cast in one of the other ten minute plays. I am wrapping up grad school applications, applying for jobs, and trying to make the last half of my last semester as an undergrad as rich and productive as possible. I love college. I am both ready to go off and explore new things and extremely resistant to the idea of graduating.
For the next few months, you can expect occasional blog updates, semi-regular index cartoon updates and the odd sketch. If we are lucky and I can find time, I have a large folder of old art I want to scan and get up online. Once I’ve got some of these applications in, I may start work on a new comic or two. I have some ideas boiling away, some for short, contained stories, and others for a longer comic strip format. Not sure what I’ll work on first, not sure whether there will be time before May, and since I’m not sure what this summer will hold for me, it’s possible that comics with either get a huge amount of focus, and it’s possible that I’ll be working at an internship or new job and have no time for anything.
There is a lot of uncertainty in my life at the moment. In part, it’s a positive thing. Life is full of opportunities, unexplored paths and doors I haven’t been though yet. But on the other hand, it would be really nice to have some idea where I’m going to be once I finish school. I will try and let you all know what’s going on as when I do. It’ll be a bit of a whirlwind few months, but hang in there with me, and we’ll figure out where we are again when the dust settles.
